Welcome to HistoriFigs – the historical miniatures production company producing the classic Jack Scruby line of historical miniature figurines. HistoriFigs was founded in January of 2003. Our goal is to continue the fine tradition started by Jack Scruby in 1957 and to carry this historic line of figures forward into the 21st century.
In December 2003, HistoriFigs began producing Lance Runolfsson's "Bloodaxe" miniatures. Be sure to check our product listings for more information about this line of figures.
In March of 2004, HistoriFigs began production of Jack Scruby's Toy Soldiers. This effort reunites the entire family of Scruby Military Miniatures, bringing many out-of-production figures back to life for war gamers and collectors alike.
In May of 2004, HistoriFigs began producing figures by expert sculptor Tony Aldrich of the United Kingdom. Be sure to visit Tony's website to see more of his work.
July 2004 marked the official start of the HistoriFigs "Custom Casting" services. Now you too can have your miniature creations reproduced in metal. Prices vary based on your needs, so please feel free to write for a quote - it will be hard to beat our quality and pricing.
In December of 2004, HistoriFigs launched the it's first Fantasy and Science Fiction figures. Another first for December was the launch of the "Ghastly & Co." line of miniatures. In February of 2005, HistoriFigs launched TableTopTalk.com - an electronic re-invention of Jack Scruby's magazine - Table Top Talk. The website, is envisioned as a "living" issue of Table Top Talk.
In September 2005, HistoriFigs moves from it's home in Sebastopol, California to a new home in Portage Wisconsin. Our new home will provide us with plenty of room for growth...
February 2006, HistoriFigs begins operations at it's new location in Portage Wisconsin.
June of 2006 signaled the launch of the Blasted Planets line of 25mm Science Fiction figures. The core of this new line has been sculpted by Lance Runolfsson. Additional figures have been created by the likes of Jack Scruby and Jason Miller.
The year 2007 marks the 50th year of production for the Jack Scruby line of historical miniature figures.
Late September 2007, HistoriFigs acquires the Resistant Roosters line of 15mm WWII miniatures.
October 2007 marked the official launch of the Bloodaxe Minaitures website; our home for Lance Runolfsson's Bloodaxe (historical 15mm) Miniatures
